- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 1 container chocolate frosting
- 24 pretzels
- 24 red M&M’s
- 48 candy eyes
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
- Prepare the chocolate cake mix according to package instructions and fill each cupcake liner about 2/3 full.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let cool completely.
- Frost each cupcake with chocolate frosting.
- Break pretzels in half and stick two halves into the top of each cupcake to resemble antlers.
- Place two candy eyes and one red M&M on each cupcake to create the reindeer face.
Notes
- For a fun twist, use mini M&M’s for the eyes and regular-sized ones for the nose.
- You can also use mini pretzels if you prefer smaller antlers for your reindeer.
- For a different flavor, try using vanilla cake mix with white frosting, and decorate with colored M&M’s.
