Description

This Easy Stromboli Dinner Recipe is a simple and delicious way to enjoy a homemade Italian feast. Loaded with melted mozzarella, savory ham, salami, pepperoni, and a garlic butter crust, it’s perfect for a quick dinner or entertaining guests. Serve with marinara sauce for dipping and watch it disappear!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pizza dough
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted, divided
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella, divided
  • 12 thin slices ham
  • 15 slices salami
  • 1517 slices pepperoni
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • Marinara sauce for dipping

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into a rectangular shape.
  • In a small bowl, combine the melted butter and minced garlic. Brush the dough with half of the garlic butter mixture.
  • Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded mozzarella over the dough, leaving a small border along the edges.
  • Layer the ham, salami, and pepperoni over the cheese.
  • Sprinkle the remaining ½ cup of mozzarella over the meats.
  • Carefully roll up the dough, pinching the edges to seal.
  • Place the stromboli seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Brush the top of the stromboli with the remaining garlic butter mixture. Then, sprinkle the garlic powder, Parmesan cheese, and chopped parsley on top.
  • Use a sharp knife to make 3-4 shallow slits on top of the stromboli to allow steam to escape while baking.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and the dough is fully cooked.
  • Let the stromboli cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve with marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

  • Feel free to customize the fillings with your favorite deli meats or cheeses. You could also add veggies like bell peppers or olives for extra flavor.
  • To make it spicier, add some crushed red pepper flakes or hot sausage to the filling.
