This fun breakfast pizza is made with English muffins, marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese, crispy bacon, and a perfectly baked egg on top. It’s a quick and delicious way to start your day!


Ingredients

  • 4 English muffins, split
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 8 slices of cooked bacon, chopped
  • 4 large eggs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the English muffin halves on a baking sheet.
  • Spread marinara sauce on each English muffin half.
  • Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the marinara sauce.
  • Top with chopped bacon.
  • Create a small well in the center of each English muffin and crack an egg into each well.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the egg is cooked to your desired doneness.
  • Garnish with chopped fresh basil before serving.

Notes

  • For a firmer egg, bake for a few extra minutes. For a runny yolk, reduce the baking time.
  • You can substitute the marinara sauce with pizza sauce or even a pesto sauce for a different flavor.
