- 4 large potatoes, peeled and cut into fries

Instructions
- Preheat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F.
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, and pepper. Gradually whisk in beer until smooth.
- Coat fish fillets in the batter and fry for 5-6 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Fry potatoes in batches until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
- Serve fish and chips with malt vinegar on the side.
