- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 packet (1 oz) dry onion soup mix
- 1/2 cup sour cream (optional)
- 1/4 cup melted butter (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooked rice or pasta, for serving
Instructions
- Prepare the Sauce:
In a bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, chicken broth, and onion soup mix. Stir until well combined. - Prepare the Chicken:
Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Place them in the slow cooker. - Add Sauce:
Pour the soup mixture over the chicken breasts. If using, drizzle melted butter over the top for added richness. - Cook:
Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or until the chicken is tender and cooked through. - Optional Step:
Stir in sour cream just before serving for extra creaminess, if desired. - Serve:

Notes
- For a lighter version, omit the sour cream and butter.
