Description

Indulge in these crispy, golden Fried Strawberry Cheesecake Sandwiches filled with a creamy, sweetened cream cheese and fresh strawberry slices. This decadent dessert is a fun twist on the classic grilled cheese, perfect for sharing or a special treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened

  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 8 slices bread (white or brioche)

  • 4 large strawberries, sliced

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 2 large eggs, beaten

  • 1/2 cup milk

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for coating)

  • Vegetable oil (for frying)

  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  • In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Set aside.

  • Spread a generous amount of the cream cheese mixture on one side of four bread slices. Top with sliced strawberries, then cover with the remaining bread slices to form sandwiches.

  • In a shallow dish, combine flour, cinnamon, and salt.

  • In another bowl, whisk together eggs and milk.

  • Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat (about 350°F / 175°C).

  • Dip each sandwich first in the flour mixture, then in the egg mixture, and again in the flour mixture, ensuring an even coating.

  • Fry sandwiches in the hot oil until golden brown and crispy on both sides, about 2–3 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.

  • While still warm, sprinkle granulated sugar over sandwiches. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

  • Use brioche bread for a richer flavor and softer texture.

  • Serve immediately for the best crispy texture.

  • Can be served with a drizzle of chocolate or berry sauce for extra indulgence.
