Description

Frozen Fruit Yogurt Pops are a guilt-free, refreshing treat that combines creamy Greek yogurt with the natural sweetness and vibrant colors of fresh or frozen fruit. These easy-to-make popsicles are packed with protein and probiotics, perfect for any occasion and customizable to your flavor preferences.

Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 to cups fresh or frozen fruit, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon or lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Prepare the fruit: Wash and chop your chosen fresh fruit into small pieces. If using frozen fruit, allow it to thaw slightly so it blends smoothly.
  2. Blend the mixture: In a blender, combine the Greek yogurt, fruit, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, and fresh lemon juice. Blend until smooth but with a few chunks left for texture if you prefer.
  3. Pour into molds: Carefully pour the creamy mixture into popsicle molds, leaving a little space at the top to allow for expansion during freezing.
  4. Insert sticks and freeze: Place the sticks in each mold and freeze for at least 4-6 hours, or until completely solidified.
  5. Unmold and enjoy: To release the pops, run warm water over the outside of the molds for a few seconds, then gently pull on the sticks. Enjoy immediately for the best texture.

Notes

  • Use full-fat yogurt for creamier texture and richer taste.
  • Don’t over-blend to keep some fruit chunks for added texture and flavor bursts.
  • For layered flavors, pour different fruit mixtures in layers before freezing.
  • Silicone molds help make unmolding easier and reduce breakage risk.
  • Let the pops warm slightly before eating to soften them for easier bites.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight freezer-safe container for up to two weeks.
  • If no blender is available, mash fruit by hand for a chunkier, rustic texture.
  • Flavored yogurt can be used but may alter sweetness and tanginess.
  • To keep vegan, use plant-based yogurt and natural sweeteners like agave syrup.
