Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 3/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper for easy removal.
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Remove from heat and stir in the sugar, cocoa powder, and salt until well combined.
  • Add the vanilla extract and eggs, mixing well until smooth. Stir in the flour until just combined.
  • Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan. Drop spoonfuls of peanut butter on top and swirl it into the batter with a knife for a marbled effect.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Let cool before cutting into squares.
