- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 can refrigerated garlic breadsticks
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef, onion, and bell pepper over medium heat until the beef is browned and the vegetables are tender. Drain any excess grease.
- Stir in the ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Let simmer for 5 minutes.
- Unroll the garlic breadsticks and press them into the bottom of a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Spread the sloppy joe mixture evenly over the garlic bread.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

- For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sloppy joe mixture.
