- 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 baguette, sliced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: Parmesan cheese for topping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Place baguette slices on a baking sheet and toast until golden, about 5 minutes.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak cubes, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, lower the heat and melt butter. Add minced garlic and garlic powder, cooking for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Return the steak bites to the skillet and toss to coat with the garlic butter. Cook for another minute to ensure they are fully coated.
- Top each toasted baguette slice with steak bites, and sprinkle with fresh parsley and Parmesan, if desired.
- Serve warm and enjoy the perfect combination of crispy bread and juicy steak.
