- 1 lb large sea scallops
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
- In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
- Arrange the scallops in a single layer in the prepared baking dish.
- Pour the garlic butter mixture evenly over the scallops.
- In another bowl, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, and parsley. Sprinkle this mixture over the scallops.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the scallops are opaque and the breadcrumb topping is golden brown.
- Serve hot with lemon wedges on the side.
