Description

Tender, succulent scallops baked in a rich garlic butter sauce with a hint of lemon and topped with Parmesan—perfect for a gourmet seafood dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb sea scallops
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Rinse the scallops under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Arrange them in a baking dish in a single layer.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, garlic, white wine, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour the garlic butter mixture over the scallops, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  5. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the scallops.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the scallops are opaque and slightly golden on top.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Serve with crusty bread or over a bed of risotto for a complete meal.
