Description

Enjoy a deliciously hearty meal with Garlic Butter Steak and Potatoes. Tender ribeye steaks are seared to perfection and paired with flavorful baby potatoes, all cooked in a rich garlic herb butter.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ribeye steaks
  • 1 pound baby potatoes, halved
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the steaks with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  • Sear the steaks in the skillet for 2-3 minutes per side until browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  • Add the baby potatoes to the skillet and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Melt the butter in the skillet, then add the garlic, rosemary, and thyme. Stir until fragrant.
  • Return the steaks to the skillet, spooning the garlic butter over them.
  • Transfer the skillet to the oven and roast for 15-20 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the steaks are cooked to your desired level of doneness.
  • Let the steaks rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving with the potatoes.

Notes

Adjust cooking time based on the thickness of the steaks and your preferred doneness.
