Description
A hearty dish featuring tender sirloin steak and crispy baby potatoes, all coated in a rich garlic butter sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into cubes
- 1 lb baby potatoes, halved
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp dried rosemary
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). In a bowl, toss the halved potatoes with olive oil, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper. Spread them in a single layer on a baking sheet and roast for 20-25 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
- While the potatoes are roasting, heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak cubes and sear until browned on all sides, about 3-4 minutes.
- Lower the heat and add the remaining butter and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the garlic is fragrant and the butter is melted, about 1 minute.
- Toss the roasted potatoes into the skillet with the steak and garlic butter. Stir to coat everything in the garlic butter sauce.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
