Description

These Garlic Parmesan Chicken Legs are crispy, juicy, and packed with bold flavor. Marinated in garlic and spices, baked to golden perfection, and finished with a buttery garlic parmesan sauce, they’re the perfect crowd-pleasing dinner or game-day favorite. Easy to make and irresistibly delicious.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Drumsticks:

  • 23 pounds chicken drumsticks

  • 1/8 cup avocado oil

  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper

For the Garlic Parmesan Sauce:

  • 2/3 cup butter, melted

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, finely grated

  • 1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes

  • 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (204°C). Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper and place a wire rack on top.

  • In a large bowl, combine chicken drumsticks, avocado oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Toss until drumsticks are evenly coated.

  • Arrange drumsticks on the wire rack in a single layer. Bake for 35–45 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 175°F (79°C) and skin is crispy.

  • While chicken is baking, mix melted butter, garlic powder, Parmesan cheese, red pepper flakes, and chopped parsley in a bowl to make the sauce.

  • Once the drumsticks are done, remove from oven and immediately toss or brush them with the garlic parmesan sauce.

  • Serve hot with extra sauce drizzled on top if desired.

Notes

  • For extra crispy skin, broil for the last 2–3 minutes of baking.

  • Can substitute avocado oil with olive oil or melted butter.

  • Serve with a side of roasted vegetables or a light salad for a complete meal.
