- 8 slices of bread
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)
For Topping:
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Sloppy Joes:
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the chopped onion, bell pepper, and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the vegetables are tender.
- Stir in the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, mustard, paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mixture thickens.
- Prepare the Garlic Toast:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a small bowl, mix together the softened butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley.
