Ingredients

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup rice cereal

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan to form the crust.
  • Bake the crust for 8-10 minutes until slightly golden. Remove from the oven and allow it to cool.
  • Spread a generous layer of caramel sauce over the crust, ensuring it covers the entire surface.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval until smooth.
  • Stir the rice cereal into the melted chocolate, then spread the mixture over the caramel layer in the pan.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before slicing into bars.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate chips. Feel free to add nuts or sea salt for extra crunch.
