Description

These Greek Chicken Burgers are juicy and flavorful, made with ground chicken, feta, and oregano, and served with a creamy, tangy tzatziki slaw. Perfect for a light and delicious meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 burger buns
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup grated cucumber
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp dried dill
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • In a bowl, mix together the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, feta cheese, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper. Form the mixture into 4 patties.
  • Heat a grill or grill pan over medium heat. Cook the patties for 5-6 minutes on each side or until they are fully cooked and reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
  • In a separate bowl, combine shredded cabbage, Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, lemon juice, dried dill, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to create the tzatziki slaw.
  • If desired, toast the burger buns on the grill until golden brown.
  • Assemble the burgers by placing a chicken patty on each bun and topping with a generous spoonful of tzatziki slaw.
  • Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • The tzatziki slaw can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
  • For a more intense flavor, let the chicken patties marinate in the fridge for 30 minutes before cooking.
  • Serve with a side of roasted vegetables or a simple Greek salad for a complete meal.
