Ingredients
For The Chicken Marinade:

1 lb chicken breast, thinly sliced

3 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons lemon juice

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon dried oregano

½ teaspoon ground cumin

Salt and pepper, to taste
For The Tzatziki Sauce:

1 cup Greek yogurt

½ cucumber, grated and drained

1 clove garlic, minced
-
1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 tablespoon olive oil
-
1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill (or mint)

Salt and pepper, to taste
For The Gyros:
- 4 pita bread rounds

½ cup chopped tomatoes

½ cup sliced red onions
-
½ cup chopped cucumber
-
¼ cup crumbled feta cheese

¼ cup chopped parsley
Instructions

Marinate the Chicken:

In a bowl, combine the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, oregano, cumin, salt, and pepper.

Add the sliced chicken breast to the bowl and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (up to 4 hours) to marinate.

Make the Tzatziki Sauce:

In a bowl, combine Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, and chopped dill (or mint).

Stir well to combine and season with salt and pepper to taste. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Cook the Chicken:

Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium heat. Add the marinated chicken slices and cook for 6-8 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked through and golden brown on the outside.

Remove from heat and set aside.

Assemble the Gyros:

Warm the pita bread rounds in the oven or on a skillet for a minute or two.

To assemble, spread a spoonful of tzatziki sauce on each pita.

Top with the cooked chicken, chopped tomatoes, sliced red onions, chopped cucumber, crumbled feta cheese, and chopped parsley.
