- 2 ripe avocados
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne
- 1/2 medium onion, diced
- 2 Roma tomatoes, seeded and diced
- 1 tablespoon chopped cilantro
- 1 clove garlic, minced
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, mash together the avocados, lime juice, and salt.
- Mix in the cumin, cayenne, onion, tomatoes, cilantro, and garlic.
- Cover the guacamole with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour before serving.
Notes
To prevent browning, keep the pit of one avocado in the guacamole while refrigerating. Serve with tortilla chips or use as a topping for tacos and burritos.
