Description

This classic guacamole is creamy, zesty, and packed with flavor, making it the perfect dip for chips, tacos, or as a topping for your favorite dishes!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne
  • 1/2 medium onion, diced
  • 2 Roma tomatoes, seeded and diced
  • 1 tablespoon chopped cilantro
  • 1 clove garlic, minced

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, mash together the avocados, lime juice, and salt.
  • Mix in the cumin, cayenne, onion, tomatoes, cilantro, and garlic.
  • Cover the guacamole with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour before serving.

Notes

To prevent browning, keep the pit of one avocado in the guacamole while refrigerating. Serve with tortilla chips or use as a topping for tacos and burritos.
