- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
- 1 tablespoon dried minced onion (or 1 1/2 teaspoons onion powder)
- 1 pound Hawaiian Rolls (24 small or 12 large)
- 1 pound deli ham, thinly sliced
- 1 pound Swiss cheese, sliced
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray and set aside.
- In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, poppy seeds, and minced onion.
- Cut the rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom halves in the prepared baking dish.
- Layer half of the deli ham on the rolls, followed by a layer of Swiss cheese, then top with the remaining ham.
- Place the top halves of the rolls on the sandwich.
- Pour the butter mixture evenly over the sliders, making sure to cover them completely.
- Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
- Remove the foil and return the dish to the oven. Bake for an additional 10 minutes until the sliders are golden and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the oven, cut, and serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra flavor, try adding a slice of pickle or a bit of garlic powder to the butter mixture.
- These sliders can be made ahead of time and baked just before serving.
