Description

These Ham and Swiss Cracker Melts are the perfect quick appetizer or snack! With layers of savory ham and melted Swiss cheese on buttery crackers, they’re sure to be a crowd-pleaser at any gathering. Easy to prepare and deliciously satisfying, they’re great for parties or game day.


Ingredients

  • 24 crackers (Ritz or similar)
  • 12 slices of deli ham, cut in half
  • 12 slices of Swiss cheese, cut in half
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp dried parsley

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Arrange the crackers in a single layer on the baking sheet. Top each cracker with half a slice of ham and half a slice of Swiss cheese.
  • In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with Dijon mustard and dried parsley.
  • Drizzle the butter mixture over each cracker stack.
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Feel free to substitute the ham and cheese with your favorites, like turkey and cheddar for a different flavor.
  • These can be made ahead and baked just before serving for a warm appetizer.
