Description

These sweet and savory Hawaiian roll sliders are the perfect party food or quick meal. Layers of deli ham and Swiss cheese are baked in a buttery Dijon mustard sauce for a deliciously melty, golden brown bite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package Hawaiian rolls
  • 1 pound deli ham
  • 8 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half and place the bottoms in a baking dish.
  • Layer the ham and Swiss cheese on the rolls.
  • Place the tops of the rolls on the cheese.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, Dijon mustard, poppy seeds, and onion powder.
  • Pour the butter mixture over the rolls, covering them completely.
  • Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • These sliders can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge before baking.
  • For extra flavor, consider adding a few pickles inside the sliders or a drizzle of honey on top before baking.
