- 1 cup white sugar
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie crust
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a medium bowl, mix together sugar, melted butter, and corn syrup until well blended.
- Beat in the eggs, then stir in the chopped pecans.
- Pour the mixture into the unbaked pie crust.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 50 to 60 minutes, or until the pie is set and golden. The center should be slightly firm and not jiggly when you tap the pie.
Notes
- Ensure the pie crust is unbaked before filling it with the mixture. You can use a store-bought crust or make your own.
- If the edges of the pie crust start to brown too quickly, cover them with foil during baking.
- Let the pie cool completely before slicing for the best texture and flavor.
