- 2 cups Chocolate cookies (crushed)
- 1/2 cup Butter (melted)
- For the cheesecake filling:
- 2 (8 oz) packages Cream cheese (softened)
- 1 cup Whipped cream
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- For the topping:
- 1 cup Twix bars (chopped)
Instructions
- Prepare the crust: In a bowl, combine the crushed chocolate cookies with melted butter. Press the mixture into the base of a springform pan to form the crust. Refrigerate for about 15 minutes to set.
- Make the cheesecake filling: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add the sugar and vanilla extract, and continue to beat until well combined. Gently fold in the whipped cream until the mixture is light and fluffy.
- Assemble the cheesecake: Pour the cheesecake filling over the chilled cookie crust. Smooth the top with a spatula.
- Add the topping: Sprinkle the chopped Twix bars evenly over the top of the cheesecake.
- Chill: Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until fully set.
- Serve: Slice and serve chilled, enjoying the rich combination of flavors and textures.
Notes
- For extra crunch, you can also add some crushed Twix bars to the crust mixture.
- This dessert can be made a day ahead and stored in the refrigerator for best results.
- If you don’t have Twix, you can substitute with another caramel-chocolate candy bar.
