Description

This hearty, comforting Reuben Bake combines corned beef, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and Thousand Island dressing with rye bread for a delicious twist on the classic Reuben sandwich. Baked to perfection, it’s a great meal for any occasion!


Ingredients

  • 1 pound cooked corned beef, shredded
  • 1 cup sauerkraut, drained
  • 1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Thousand Island dressing
  • 8 slices rye bread, cubed

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, mix together corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, Thousand Island dressing, and rye bread.
  • Transfer mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until bubbly and cheese is melted.

Notes

  • You can use fresh or day-old rye bread for better texture.
  • To make it a bit crispier, you can broil the top for 2-3 minutes at the end of the baking time.
