- 1 pound deli corned beef, chopped
- 1 can sauerkraut, drained
- 2 cups shredded Swiss cheese
- 1/2 cup Thousand Island dressing
- 1/4 cup chopped dill pickles
- 8 slices rye bread, cubed
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a 9×13 inch baking dish, layer the chopped corned beef, drained sauerkraut, shredded Swiss cheese, Thousand Island dressing, chopped dill pickles, and cubed rye bread.
- Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the top.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and golden brown.
- Allow it to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Consider adding sautéed onions or bell peppers for extra flavor and texture.
