- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
- 1 tablespoon water (if using cornstarch)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)
- 2 green onions, sliced (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic. Set aside.
- Cook Sausage: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sausage slices and cook until browned and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- Cook Shrimp: In the same skillet, add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until pink and opaque. Remove from the skillet and set aside with the sausage.
- Cook Broccoli: Add the broccoli florets to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes, or until tender-crisp.
- Combine Ingredients: Return the sausage and shrimp to the skillet. Pour the honey garlic sauce over the mixture. Stir to coat evenly and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Thicken Sauce (Optional): If you prefer a thicker sauce, mix cornstarch with water to create a slurry and stir into the skillet. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle with sesame seeds and sliced green onions if desired. Serve hot.
