- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup hot fudge sauce plus extra for drizzling
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan and set aside.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugar until smooth.
- Add the eggs, one at a time, whisking well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Mix until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and hot fudge sauce until evenly distributed in the batter.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Drizzle with extra hot fudge sauce before serving for an indulgent touch.
