Description

This decadent Hot Fudge Pie is the perfect dessert for chocolate lovers. With a rich, fudgy center and a slightly crispy top, it’s served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an irresistible treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • Vanilla ice cream (for serving)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
  • Remove from heat and stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  • Beat in flour, cocoa powder, and salt until well blended.
  • Stir in chopped nuts, if desired.
  • Pour batter into a greased 9-inch pie dish.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until set.
  • Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Notes

  • The pie will have a fudgy, molten center that’s perfect when paired with ice cream.
  • For extra richness, top with a drizzle of hot fudge or chocolate syrup.
  • If you prefer a nut-free version, simply omit the chopped nuts.
  • You can also serve it with whipped cream instead of ice cream for a different twist.
