Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
- Remove from heat and stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract.
- Beat in flour, cocoa powder, and salt until well blended.
- Stir in chopped nuts, if desired.
- Pour batter into a greased 9-inch pie dish.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until set.
