- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2–3 ripe peaches, sliced
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and cinnamon.
- In a separate bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg and mix until smooth.
- Alternate adding the flour mixture and milk to the wet ingredients, mixing until combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and arrange the peach slices on top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Notes
