Description

Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, these Italian breaded chicken cutlets are a classic comfort food. Coated in a flavorful breadcrumb and Parmesan mixture, then baked to perfection, they make for an easy and delicious meal for the whole family.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 cup olive oil

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a shallow dish, mix together breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Dip each chicken breast in the beaten eggs, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to ensure it sticks.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Cook the chicken breasts in the skillet for about 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown.
  • Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • For a lighter version, you can bake the chicken breasts instead of frying them. Just place them on a baking sheet and bake at 400°F for 20-25 minutes.
  • Pair with a side of pasta, a green salad, or roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
