This Italian-inspired twist on the classic tiramisu combines the creamy richness of mascarpone cheese with the bright, zesty flavors of limoncello and lemon zest. Perfect for special occasions, this no-bake dessert is both refreshing and indulgent.

- 1 cup of strong espresso, cooled
- 1/2 cup of limoncello liqueur
- 1 package of ladyfinger cookies
- 16 oz of mascarpone cheese
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- Zest of 2 lemons
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish
Instructions
- In a shallow dish, combine the espresso and limoncello.
- Dip each ladyfinger cookie into the espresso mixture, making sure they are soaked but not falling apart.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, sugar, and lemon zest. Mix until smooth.
- In a serving dish, layer the soaked ladyfinger cookies followed by a layer of the mascarpone mixture. Repeat until all ingredients are used, ending with a layer of mascarpone mixture on top.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to set.
- Before serving, garnish with fresh mint leaves.
Notes
- For a more intense lemon flavor, you can add extra lemon zest to the mascarpone mixture.
- Garnish with additional lemon zest or shaved chocolate for a decorative touch.
