A sweet and tangy twist on traditional hummus, featuring the smooth richness of tahini, the natural sweetness of agave syrup, and the fresh zest of lemon. Perfect as a dip for pita bread or fresh vegetables!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 3 tbsp agave syrup
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • In a food processor, combine chickpeas, tahini, agave syrup, lemon juice, garlic, and salt. Blend until smooth.
  • Drizzle in olive oil while blending until desired consistency is reached.
  • Transfer hummus to a serving bowl and sprinkle with paprika and chopped parsley.
  • Serve with pita bread or fresh vegetables.

Notes

  • For a creamier hummus, add a little water or extra olive oil to adjust the texture.
  • You can use other sweeteners like honey instead of agave syrup if desired.
