Description

Indulge in succulent lobster tails broiled to perfection, brushed with a zesty lemon garlic butter. A luxurious seafood dish that’s easy to prepare!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 lobster tails, thawed if frozen
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Lemon wedges, for garnish
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Lobster Tails:
    • Preheat your broiler to high and position the oven rack 6 inches from the heat source. Using kitchen shears or a sharp knife, carefully cut down the center of each lobster tail shell, stopping at the base but not cutting all the way through. Gently pull apart the shell to expose the meat.
  • Make the Lemon Garlic Butter:
    • In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, dried parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  • Broil the Lobster Tails:
    • Place the prepared lobster tails on a baking sheet, meat side up. Brush the lemon garlic butter mixture generously over the lobster meat. Broil the lobster tails for 6-8 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and slightly browned. The cooking time may vary depending on the size of the tails.
  • Serve:
    • Garnish the lobster tails with additional lemon wedges and chopped fresh parsley. Serve immediately with extra lemon garlic butter for dipping.

Notes

For added flavor, marinate the lobster tails in the lemon garlic butter mixture for 30 minutes before broiling. Be sure not to overcook the lobster to keep it tender and juicy.
