A classic, flavorful meatloaf made with ground beef and Lipton Onion Soup Mix, topped with a sweet and tangy ketchup glaze. It’s an easy and satisfying comfort food perfect for family dinners.
Ingredients

2 lbs ground beef

1/2 tbsp ground mustard

1 cup ketchup (for mixture)

3/4 cup water

1/3 cup ketchup (for glaze)

1 envelope Lipton Onion Soup Mix

1/2 tsp ground black pepper

2 whole eggs

1/4 cup brown sugar

1 cup bread crumbs
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large bowl, mix ground beef, ground mustard, 1 cup ketchup, water, Lipton Onion Soup Mix, black pepper, eggs, and bread crumbs until just combined.

Shape the mixture into a loaf and place in a baking dish or loaf pan.

In a separate bowl, mix 1/3 cup ketchup with brown sugar. Spread this glaze evenly over the top of the meatloaf.

Bake for 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
- Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes

Use lean ground beef for a less greasy loaf.

Letting the meatloaf rest helps it hold its shape when sliced.
- You can line the pan with parchment paper for easier cleanup.
