Description

These loaded fries are topped with savory ground beef, gooey cheddar cheese, crispy bacon, and fresh veggies, then drizzled with a tangy burger sauce. Perfect for a hearty snack or indulgent meal.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Fries:

  • 4 large russet potatoes, peeled and cut into fries
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

For the Toppings:

  • 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon bits
  • 1/4 cup sliced pickles
  • 1/4 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup sliced red onions

For the Burger Sauce:

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard

Instructions

  • Prepare the Fries:
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Place the cut potatoes in a large bowl and toss with olive oil, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Spread the fries in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake the Fries:
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and golden brown. Remove from oven and set aside.
  • Cook the Ground Beef:
While the fries are baking, heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned and cooked through. Season with onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Drain any excess fat.
  • Assemble the Loaded Fries:
Once the fries are baked, transfer them to a serving dish or keep them on the baking sheet. Sprinkle the cooked ground beef evenly over the fries. Top with shredded cheddar cheese and return to the oven for 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
  • Add the Toppings:
Remove the loaded fries from the oven and sprinkle with cooked bacon bits, sliced pickles, chopped tomatoes, and sliced red onions.
  • Prepare the Burger Sauce:
In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard.
  • Serve:
Drizzle the burger sauce over the loaded fries and serve immediately while hot and cheesy.

Notes

For an extra kick, consider adding a sprinkle of chili powder or hot sauce to the fries before serving. You can also use a mix of cheeses for added flavor.
