Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a shallow bowl, mix together the bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk.
  • Dredge each chicken breast in the flour, coating both sides.
  • Dip the floured chicken into the egg mixture, ensuring it’s coated completely.
  • Then, coat the chicken breasts in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere the crumbs.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the chicken breasts and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
  • Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  • Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • For an extra crispy coating, double-dip the chicken in the flour and egg mixture before breading.
  • Serve with your favorite pasta or a side salad for a complete meal.
