- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 lb Italian sausage, crumbled
- 1/2 lb pepperoni slices
- 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup green bell pepper, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 8 taco-sized flour tortillas
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and Italian sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add the chopped onion, green bell pepper, and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until vegetables are tender.
- Stir in marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes (if using). Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Spread a layer of the meat mixture onto each flour tortilla, then sprinkle with shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Fold the tortillas in half to create taco shapes and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tortillas are crispy.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh basil before serving.
