Ingredients
Scale
- 1 apple, cored and sliced
- 1 tablespoon peanut butter
- 30 mini marshmallows
- 2 tablespoons sunflower seeds
Instructions
- Spread peanut butter on one side of each apple slice.
- Place 5 mini marshmallows in a row on top of the peanut butter on half of the apple slices to form the “teeth” of the monster mouth.
- Sprinkle sunflower seeds on top of the marshmallows to create the “bite” and add a little crunch.
- Top each monster mouth with the remaining apple slices, peanut butter side down, to close the “mouth.”
- Enjoy your fun and spooky Monster Mouth Sandwiches!
Notes
- For a nut-free version, you can use sunflower seed butter or any other nut-free spread.
- You can experiment with different fruits, like pears or peaches, to create variations of the “monster mouth.”
- If you’d like to add more flair, you can use raisins or chocolate chips as “eyes” on top of the sandwiches.
