Description

A deliciously stuffed stromboli filled with tender ribeye steak, sautéed onions and peppers, and gooey mozzarella cheese—perfect for a hearty meal or a game day snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb thinly sliced ribeye steak
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Marinara sauce (for dipping)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). In a skillet, cook the ribeye steak over medium heat until browned. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, sauté the onions and bell peppers until soft, about 3-4 minutes. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  • Roll out the pizza dough into a large rectangle on a floured surface. Spread the steak, onions, and bell peppers evenly over the dough. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  • Roll the dough tightly from one end to the other, tucking in the sides as you go. Pinch the seam to seal.
  • Place the stromboli seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the top with the beaten egg.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Let cool for a few minutes before slicing.
  • Serve with warm marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

For added flavor, you can include sliced mushrooms or jalapeños in the filling.
