- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 3 cups old-fashioned oats
- 1 cup raisins
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla extract, and beat until combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and cinnamon. Gradually add to the wet ingredients, mixing well.
- Stir in oats and raisins.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
For extra flavor, you can add chopped nuts or use chocolate chips along with the raisins.
