For the Crust:
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
For the Filling:
- 4 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup sour cream
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
- Zest of 1 orange
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- Orange zest, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan and line the bottom with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan to form the crust.
- Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then remove from the oven and let cool.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth and creamy.
- Add the sour cream, and mix until well combined. Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing just until incorporated.
- Mix in the heavy cream, orange juice, orange zest, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the cooled crust. Smooth the top with a spatula.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the center is set and the edges are lightly golden. Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool in the oven with the door slightly ajar for 1 hour.
- Refrigerate the cheesecake for at least 4 hours or overnight to fully set.
- For the topping, beat the heavy cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form. Spread or pipe the whipped cream over the chilled cheesecake.
- Garnish with additional orange zest before serving.
Notes
