- 4 apples (preferably Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- Cut the apples into wedges.
- In a bowl, mix together the sugar and cinnamon.
- Toss the apple wedges in melted butter and then coat with the sugar-cinnamon mixture.
- Place the coated apple wedges on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
- In a small saucepan, heat the caramel sauce and heavy cream together until smooth.
- Serve the apple wedges fries with the caramel cream dipping sauce on the side.
Notes
For a variation, try adding a pinch of nutmeg or using a mix of different apple varieties for added flavor.
