Description

These baked apple wedges are a delightful twist on fries, perfectly spiced with cinnamon and sugar, and served with a rich caramel cream dipping sauce. A delicious treat that’s easy to make!


Ingredients

  • 4 apples (preferably Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  • Cut the apples into wedges.
  • In a bowl, mix together the sugar and cinnamon.
  • Toss the apple wedges in melted butter and then coat with the sugar-cinnamon mixture.
  • Place the coated apple wedges on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • In a small saucepan, heat the caramel sauce and heavy cream together until smooth.
  • Serve the apple wedges fries with the caramel cream dipping sauce on the side.

Notes

For a variation, try adding a pinch of nutmeg or using a mix of different apple varieties for added flavor.
