Description

These Peanut Butter Brownie Swirl Cookies are a perfect blend of rich, creamy peanut butter and decadent brownie flavors. With a marbled dough, these cookies are chewy, indulgent, and packed with chocolatey goodness.

Ingredients

Scale
  • For the Peanut Butter Cookie Dough:
    • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
    • 1/4 cup butter, softened
    • 1/2 cup brown sugar
    • 1 egg
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 1 cup all-purpose flour
    • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
    • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • For the Brownie Dough:
    • 1/2 cup butter, melted
    • 1 cup white sugar
    • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
    • 1 egg
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
    • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
    • 1/4 teaspoon salt
    • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Prepare the Doughs:
    • Peanut Butter Dough: In a large bowl, cream together the peanut butter, butter, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract. Gradually mix in the flour, baking soda, and salt until combined.
    • Brownie Dough: In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter, sugar, and cocoa powder until smooth. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract. Gradually mix in the flour, baking powder, and salt until a dough forms. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  • Assemble the Cookies:
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Scoop out equal portions of peanut butter dough and brownie dough onto the baking sheet. Use a knife or fork to gently swirl the two doughs together, creating a marbled effect. Top each cookie with a few extra chocolate chips for decoration, if desired.
  • Bake:
    • Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set and the tops are slightly golden. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool.

Notes

  • For extra chocolate flavor, you can mix in more chocolate chips or chunks into the peanut butter dough.
  • Make sure not to overbake the cookies to maintain a chewy texture.
