- 2 cans (8 oz each) Pillsbury crescent rolls
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning mix
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup salsa
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives (optional)
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease. Stir in taco seasoning mix and water according to package instructions. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Unroll the crescent rolls and arrange them in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, pressing them into the bottom and up the sides to form a crust.
- Spread the cooked taco meat evenly over the crescent roll crust.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese over the meat.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly. Top with sour cream, salsa, olives, green onions, and cilantro before serving.
