    • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • For the Glaze:
    • 1 cup powdered sugar
    • 23 tablespoons milk
    • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  • Mix the Cake Batter:
    • In a large bowl, combine the yellow cake mix, pumpkin puree, eggs, vegetable oil, milk, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, and ground cloves. Mix until well combined.
  • Prepare Cinnamon Sugar:
    • In a small bowl, mix together the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon.
  • Layer the Batter:
    • Pour half of the cake batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon sugar mixture over the batter.
  • Add Remaining Batter:
    • Pour the remaining cake batter on top and spread it evenly. Sprinkle the remaining cinnamon sugar mixture on top of the cake batter.
  • Create Swirls:
    • Use a knife or a toothpick to gently swirl the cinnamon sugar into the cake batter, creating a marbled effect.
  • Bake:
    • Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Make the Glaze:
    • While the cake is cooling, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Glaze the Cake:
