Ingredients

  • 1 loaf rye bread
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup sauerkraut, drained
  • 1 cup chopped corned beef
  • 1/4 cup Thousand Island dressing
  • 1 tsp caraway seeds
  • Rye bread cubes, for dipping

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cut the top off the rye bread loaf and hollow out the center to create a bread bowl.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, corned beef, Thousand Island dressing, and caraway seeds.
  • Spoon the mixture into the hollowed-out bread bowl.
  • Place the filled bread bowl on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, until the dip is bubbly and the bread is toasted.
  • Serve hot with rye bread cubes for dipping.
