  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 2 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing well.
  • Gradually stir in the flour and baking soda until combined, then fold in the Rice Krispies and chocolate chips.
  • Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Allow cookies to cool on a wire rack before serving.

Notes

For extra chewiness, slightly underbake the cookies and let them set on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring.
