- 1 lb Italian sausage
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced

- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Cook rigatoni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, cook Italian sausage over medium heat until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté bell peppers, onion, and garlic until softened.
- Add crushed tomatoes and chicken broth to the skillet. Bring to a simmer.
- Add the cooked sausage back to the skillet and stir to combine.
- Add cooked rigatoni to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
- Stir in grated Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil.
